On February 17, 2025, Professor Qi Jianmin, Dr. Liu, Mr. Kan Wei, and other experts from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University visited Haigu Biotechnology (Yunnan) Co., Ltd. for discussions.
Qi Jianmin, head of the Crop Genetics and Breeding Research Institute at Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, is the director of the Hemp Genetics Breeding and Comprehensive Utilization Research Center. He also serves as an expert in the national and Ministry of Agriculture's hemp crop variety evaluation, national hemp resource access evaluation, national science and technology achievement award evaluation, national science and technology support project evaluation, executive committee member of the Hemp Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Crop Science, editorial board member of the journal "China Hemp Science", deputy secretary-general of the Fujian Seed Association, and visiting advisor to the Taiwan Organic Agriculture Association.
After visiting the factory area, both parties engaged in in-depth exchanges at the symposium, where Professor Qi Jianmin explored new pathways for deep integration of production, education, research, and application with Dong Zhihai, chairman of Haigu Biotechnology (Yunnan) Co., Ltd., and heads of various departments such as production and R&D!
Through discussions at the meeting, Haigu Biotechnology (Yunnan) Co., Ltd. and Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University reached a preliminary framework agreement, which will unlock: planting models will develop in organic, ecological, and green directions, transformation of planting and R&D cooperation mechanisms, achieving sustainable development, establishment of a seed resource bank, collaborative innovation in scientific research projects, achieving mutual benefits for schools and enterprises, and agreements on student training bases.
